Mission Statement

As members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, we are committed to excellence in public safety.  We take pride in providing professional law enforcement service by enhancing the quality of life through community interaction and partnerships, prevention of crime, and efficient service to the public. Conducting ourselves in a manner that is reproach, assisting those in need with honor and integrity, and protecting Constitutional freedoms by advocating unquestionable ethical standards, professionalism, and honor is our pledge.

Vision Statement

It is the vision of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office to continually deliver the level of service deserved by the county we serve, by providing our officers with the knowledge and tools to meet and exceed the needs of our citizens.
